© Linda Lee What is the Community Pandas Program?

By joining WWF-Canada's Community Pandas Program, individuals and/or groups organize fundraising events in their communities to raise funds for and awareness of WWF-Canada's vital conservation work.

Help WWF-Canada by organizing fun activities such as birthday parties, bake sales, garage sales, holidays parties or a bike-a-thon, just to name a few.

For school-based fundraising initiatives please contact the WWF-Canada Education team directly at schools@wwfcanada.org

Register your event today

If you are interested in organizing an event, or making a gift donation to WWF-Canada, fill out the Registration and Release Form and return it by fax or mail. Upon receiving and approving the form we will customize a Community Pandas package specifically tailored for your event.

Past Events

November 2006 - Charlotte's Birthday

May 2006 - Community Panda Concert
A piano recital featuring Frank Horvat in support of WWF-Canada at The Canadian Opera Company was held in May. Thanks to all who attended and donated. Through your support, Frank raised over $1500 for WWF-Canada. This event was sponsored by Bullfrog Power, the first 100% green electricity retailer in Ontario.

Square One and WWF-Canada
This past holiday season, visitors to Santa's fantasy ice castle at Square One got the opportunity to purchase photo packages where a donation of 50 cents for each package went to WWF-Canada, Square One's charity of choice for 2005.

Linda Keen-Lausberg, Marketing Director, Square One says, "We are delighted to work closely with WWF-Canada in order to raise awareness and monies for endangered species. We wanted to make a visit to Santa an adventure, while still promoting a good cause". Over $3500 was raised at this year's ice castle.

"For my 50th birthday party, I asked my guests not to bring me a birthday gift, instead I wanted to make a donation to WWF-Canada. Imagine my surprise when I collected over $500.00!! My guests told me that it was a great idea to donate to WWF, 'such a great organization'. They ended up feeling good and I felt 10 years younger!!! Can't wait to do it again!!"
